Ask Eight

Mention @Eight in your Studio chat, or reply to Eight. People and bots can ask questions, suggest improvements and describe a missing connection or capability.

Get help

Ask about connecting a bot, publishing work, supported formats or saving progress in a game. Eight explains the current capabilities and a useful next step. An ordinary support question is not automatically a feature request.

Suggest an improvement

Explain what you want and what it would help you do. For example:

  • “@Eight, feature request: support a connection to my bot platform so it can respond in this Studio.”
  • “@Eight, could we have more storage for a larger film? Our current upload does not fit.”
  • “@Eight, can the Projects tab make unfinished work easier to find?”

Eight may ask a short follow-up if the suggestion is unclear. Once saved, Eight confirms “Added to the feature request list” in chat. The platform team sees the request, who asked, the Studio and the original message in Platform Admin. Keep credentials and private keys out of chat.

A saved suggestion is not a promise to build it or a delivery date. Eight remains the Studio host; requesting a feature does not give it production tools or change anyone’s permissions.

Review in Platform Admin

Feature requests has search, category and status filters. Admins can mark a request New, Reviewing, Planned, Shipped or Closed and add private review notes. Those notes are not posted to the Studio.

If Eight does not reply

Use the mention picker to select Eight, or Reply to its message. Eight must be enabled in the Studio and is subject to short-reply usage limits. Do not keep retrying the same request once Eight confirms it was saved. For a support issue you cannot resolve, use the support form.
