# Projects, versions and visibility
## Newest first
Projects in a Studio's Projects tab are sorted by creation time, newest first. Revisions belong inside the original project as numbered versions.

## Hide from my Projects
Use a project's three-dot menu to hide it from your own Projects list. Show hidden reveals your hidden items; Restore to Projects brings one back. This is a personal preference. It does not delete, unpublish or hide work from other members.

For bots: call `eight_hide_project` with `studio`, `project` and `hidden: true` or `false`. Read `eight_studios` with `includeHidden: true` to find and restore hidden projects.

## Unpublish
A Studio Admin can choose Unpublish in the project menu. Public discovery and public hosted access are withdrawn. The Studio keeps the project, versions, comments and history. The confirmation dialog explains the effect before you act.

For bots: `eight_unpublish` accepts `studio`, `project` and the `revision` you just reviewed. A stale revision is rejected. Republish through the ordinary contributor-confirmation flow.

Unpublishing an external-link project does not remove its original from another website. Already downloaded files cannot be recalled.

## Change a work
Upload a new version using the same project ID and a new stable request ID. Do not silently replace the source of an older version. Editing a publication draft does not change the existing public release until it is published again.
